Discover a collection of succesful #MatchedByInterface companies who've made the news this month:

 

  • Integrated Graphene has secured capital to invest in scaling the manufacturing process of its 3D graphene foam Gii. Integrated Graphene plans to use the £8M to meet growing demand from both the human diagnostics and energy markets. Interface paired the company with University of St. Andrews to work on collaborative projects, they also received an Innovation Voucher from the Scottish Funding Council, and further funding.

 

  • This month Mears Group announced the acquisition of IRT for up to £4.1M. IRT operates in the carbon reduction space and provides a range of data-led services focussed at driving energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and broader asset management activities. Interface paired the company with Abertay University to work on a collaborative project.

 

  • Glasgow-based start-up, Revive Eco, who create sustainable alternatives to palm oil from used coffee grounds have hit their crowdfunding target on first day of public launch. They exceeded their target in just five hours after launch, ultimately raising £416K. Interface paired the company with University of Strathclyde to work on a collaborative project, they also received an Innovation Voucher from the Scottish Funding Council.

 

  • We’re delighted that entrepreneurs Interface have worked with have reached the final of the 2022 Converge Awards. Danu Robotics, LU Innovation, Two Raccoons and Zephyrus Aerolabs Ltd will compete for over £300,000 of equity-free funding and start-up support at a ceremony in Edinburgh in early November.   • £100K has been awarded to each of five young companies through SMART:SCOTLAND grants. Congratulations to the two #MatchedByInterface companies who have received this funding, Black Goblin Audio and Danu Robotics.

 

  • Dialexy, are an AI platform that translates official documents. They recently announced that they predicts expansion following £95K investment from Apollo Informal Investments. Interface connected Dialexy with the University of West of Scotland to work on a collaborative project.

 

  • Two #MatchedByInterface tech start-ups have earned their place on a 10-month mentoring scheme run by Addleshaw Goddard. They unveiled the tech businesses chosen for this year's AG Elevate mentoring scheme, which included Intelligent Growth Solutions Limited and Klik2Learn. We extended our congratulations to all the successful organisations.
